Microboard Game Making
Acknowledgement
We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their continuing connection to land and as custodians of stories for millennia. We respectfully acknowledge the land on which we all meet today, and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
Summary
Boardgames have come back around as the new hotness in the community, with huge kickstarters and an avalanche of new people coming to the hobby. The only thing better than playing a game - for a certain kind of person - is to create their own game from scratch. Which is what this workshop program is all about; designing and fabricating prototype micro-boardgames in collaboration with local professional game designers and the Applied Creativity team in Brisbane only free-to-use maker-space.
