Getting Started
You have hunch you might like to try out 3D printing, use our laser or the vinyl cutter.
It seems like a fun and creative way to spend some of your free time. And it doesn’t really cost much to use the great equipment available for free at The Edge in the State Library’s makerspace. It costs the price of a bus ticket and maybe some cheap materials (that you can probably buy at the library anyway).
But you just don’t know how to get started…
Here’s how.
Step 1. Checkout the starter projects below and then…
Step 2. Come into our weekly makers’ meetup Hack the Evening on a Thursday night, Introduce yourself and get one of our staff or one of the friendly members of our community to give you a hand getting started.
And we'll try one of these Self Paced Starter Projects.
