CNC Pit Setup

OH&S dictates that the CNC Pit needs to remain tidy. For some time there will be weekly inductions ( 5 participants plus facilitator) and open lab access ( min 2 people)

To achieve this we will have a specifc list of furniture and equipment stored there. Anything else needs to be removed be the machine is used.

Tools

  • Battery drill and charger
  • Phillips head Driver bit
  • Drill bits
  • Screws and washers ( well labeled so bed is never punched with longer screws )
  • Mallet
  • Water spray
  • Chuck Wrench 1
  • Chuck wrench 2
  • Tape measure
  • Veneer calliper
  • Multi Cam Manual
  • Tooling/ collets
  • Tarp

Stationary

  • Markers (sharpie)
  • Pencil
  • Whiteboard markers
  • Biro
  • Clipboards x 6
  • Broom

Cleaning/Maintenance

  • Spray and Wipe
  • Supply of Chux
  • WD40
  • Steel Wool

PPE

  • Gloves ( for changing tool and manual handling) x 6 pairs (C)
  • Eyes Protection Clean x 6 pairs (C)
  • Container Eyes Protection Worn (C)
  • Disposable Hearing protection(C)
  • Hearing protection (Muff type) (C)
  • Dust masks disposable (C)

Furniture

  • Whiteboard
  • 6x stools
  • Bin ( no offcuts )
  • Computer bench
  • Bookshelves

Signage

(even if these are printouts initially)

  • Operator only inside line when machine is cutting
  • Line
  • Eye and hearing protection to be worn when machine is in operation
  • Cut settings
  • Right tool for the job
