3D printing

3D printing

3D printers enable you to import a digital 3D model, and print it out in 3D in a durable hard-wearing, plastic-based material.

Pre-existing 3D models for printing available from libraries such as Thingiverse and MyMiniFactory, or once a little more experienced, you can create your own. 3D printers are becoming increasingly integral to many industries, from production robotic parts to building. Thus exposure to 3D printing is now becoming fundamental in the Makerspace and is a great experience to share with your community, with a fun and productive outcome.
