Terminology

On this wiki, we try use the same terminology to ensure that we all talk and present the same ideas. However, terminology in technology is diverse across the internet.

Below, we have outlined the terminology that we use and what it means:

Term	Definition
Programs	A group of activities or workshops, such as Today's LEGO MindStorms program contains 2 activities. First to build a pet dog and the second to code the pet dog. However it can also mean a collection of code (also known as an Application), John is going to code a NAO and save it as a program.
Activity	A list of tasks to be completed, such as an activity to construct a KANO computer. Participants in an activity do work at their own pace and are not usually expected to start and finish at the same time.
Workshop	A collection of activities being held and participants are expected to start and finish the workshop at the same time.
