First 5 Forever - online training program

Helping library staff understand, deliver and advocate for the First 5 Forever program in their local community

Welcome to the First 5 Forever online training program. This program is an introduction to the First 5 Forever program and has been designed specifically for library staff delivering programs to children and families. Each module will unpack different elements of the program, early literacy and the role that library staff have in supporting families as their child’s first and most important teacher.

After you register for the program:

  • Work through the 3 modules

    Allow 15 mins per module on average.

    You can work through the program at your own pace. Just return to the landing page and click the tile for your next module when you are ready.

  • Remember the post-training survey

    Upon completion of the final module, complete the post-training survey.
