Design session 5

This week is the final week that we will be receiving new designs. We received a number of designs and we decided not to go ahead with a number. The reason for this was the amount of time that is remaining along with the number of other elements that still need design work.

This is what we focused on during this session:

- Inside of the robots brain - girl hero garden - girl hero spinning

There as 5 people in attendance. 2 extra people dropped in who decided to fabricate rather than design.

The designs

Here is where the designs got to:

Inside the robots head

Brain is suspended from the roof

negatives of the design could be spray painted to the walls

layer the cogs

TV'S are on the right and left as you enter. 4 images on each of the TV's that spin

The screen images are the following drawings from children:

Meg, Bull frog, robot, big duck, troll fairy, moon, snot blurting monster, red ant. These will be scanned in and glued onto cardboard and inserted into the TV screens. Diane will be scanning these images in and posting these to slack.

Garden

Ideas of shrub around the blue trestle tables that have holes in them and leaves.

There is a tree in the garden with a swing and some ledges for the toilet rolls. Meg sits on the swing. There is grass at the base of the tree. There are holes in the grass for toilet roll characters.

There could be cardboard trellises around the window of the auditorium that has holes in it for toilet roll characters.
