Pitches were then voted on and One Eye was selected as the Imagined thing to fabricate! Students then split into groups to design and fabricate in sections. Students used digital design tools, such as SolidWorks, Sketch Up and AutoCAD to 3D model and design One Eye and the Cityscape. {{:ggr:madethings:img_5444.jpg?300|}} {{:ggr:madethings:img_5459.jpg?300|}} {{:ggr:madethings:oneeye.png?direct&400|}} {{:ggr:madethings:20210923_jruckli_slq_grumpus_055.jpg?400|}} {{:ggr:madethings:13c7ba03-e49c-4574-8f66-ac0f6e27bad3.jpg?400|}} The Fabrication Journey: students worked independently to fabricate One Eye and the Cityscape. A combination of fabrication methods were used including the beam method as well as hand, CNC and Laser cutting and assembly. There was lots of communication between the groups to ensure the scale and finish was consistent and that the pieces of One Eye would fit together on assembly. {{:ggr:madethings:20210923_jruckli_slq_grumpus_067.jpg?600|}} {{ggr:madethings:20210923_jruckli_slq_grumpus_045.jpg?600|}} {{:ggr:madethings:img_5883.jpg?400|}} {{:ggr:madethings:img_5886.jpg?400|}} =====Made===== Griffith University’s QCA Design students- Gold Coast {{:ggr:madethings:20211209_jruckli_slq_grumpus_250.jpg?400|}} {{:ggr:madethings:20211209_jruckli_slq_grumpus_251.jpg?400|}} {{:ggr:madethings:20211028_jruckli_slq_grumpus_053.jpg?300|}} {{:ggr:madethings:20211028_jruckli_slq_grumpus_017.jpg?300|}} {{:ggr:madethings:20211028_jruckli_slq_grumpus_030.jpg?700|}} {{:ggr:madethings:20211028_jruckli_slq_grumpus_108.jpg?600|}} {{:ggr:madethings:20211209_jruckli_slq_grumpus_253.jpg?600|}}
